A mug for your ale needs

After a long time, there’s a new model. A Mug.
I know it’s not that impressive, but it took me a while as I decided to learn some new techniques that could help me model better.
So now I have some handy scripts that generate the numbering on the parts and the tabs. I also created some templates for the covers, instructions and parts sheets also this model is completely vector.

Get it here: Mug

Real life again

Once again real life rears it’s head. Sorry I wasn’t able to deliver the model on time, unfortunatley I’ve been swamped with work so no time for model building, sorry. I still plan on releasing the model in the nearby future, I just can’t make ony promises.

In the mean time, check these WIP’s…..

Ronal Dwalin pipe

Prized pie

Bounder Sheriff Hat

Orthanc - Movie version

Orthanc is still on the early stages of construction, it’s still missing more than ~70% of the model. When finished it should have ~60cm. This is a long term project, so I don’t know when it will be finished or if I will finish it.

Gift

Look at what arrived at my doorstep today. A cloth map and a handwritten note from Faya, over at Codemasters.

Thanks for the map, and for a great year 🙂

If you haven’t noticed yet the phto also contains proof that it’s possible to build the Milestone model, yay 😀

Next model

I know it’s not exactly a building, but it’s a important part of Middle Earth, how could you drink your ale without it????

Just need to unfold it, do the instructions and generate the pdf. I’m hoping to release it this week

Hmmm, I wonder what will be the next one 😀

Milestone file size

It came to my attention that the file size for the milestones was bit too much, sorry about that. As per Undo sugestion 🙂 here are two new versions with better compression and consequently a lower file size (between 13Mb and 14Mb)

Milestone (Codemaster edition)

Milestone (Standard edition)

Milestone

I’ve been toying with the idea of “building” Middle Earth for sometime now, but when it was announced that LOTRO Europe was going west, beyond the sea, it was time to put that idea into practice.
So, I give you a small token of appreciation for these 4 years (I was in the beta, but due to personal issues it was only last year that I actually bought LOTRO and started playing), it’s a papercraft model, that you can print (160gsm is the one I use), cut and then assemble.
Besides this model I have a couple more models in the pipeline which I hope to finish soon.

I hope you guys like it.

Milestone (Codemasters Edition), so that you always remember were our home was.

Milestone (Standard Edition), in case you ever forget were your home is

PS Unfortunatley, due to the lack of time, I still haven’t build the model, so if you detect some error please let me know.
